These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pocket Quotes (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, or by creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Communications

If you create an account, we send essential account and transactional messages (such as email confirmation and password resets). We send the daily quote email or other optional updates only if you ask for them, and every one of those emails includes an unsubscribe link. We do not share your email address with third parties for their marketing.

4. Your Data

You keep ownership of the content and information you provide. You grant us only the limited permission we need to host, store, and display it in order to operate the Service for you — for example saving your quiz results so we can show your stats and leaderboard standing. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, transmitting malware, scraping at scale, infringing intellectual property rights, or violating any applicable law.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Service, including text, design, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Historical quotes may be in the public domain; curation, layout, and software are ours.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
